I’ll never pass up an opportunity to see Kanye West, but add Miguel and an Infatuation-curated food lineup and you’ve got yourself a show. It may not be Coachella, but it’s the next best thing -just promise me to retire the flower crown.
While the new Whitney has certainly secured itself among the list of my absolute favorite museums in the city, be sure to check out the Met Breur in the former Whitney’s space for their inaugural exhibit “Unfinished” to see the process behind the creating of art with works deliberately left unfinished and incomplete.
Head over to Brooklyn any weekend until November to indulge in one of the 75+ vendors at this food market -Williamsburg on Saturdays and Prospect Park on Sundays. Expect long lines and proliferous Instagrams the ramen burger, but be open to discovering something new.
MOMA PS1 just released their Summer Sixteen Warm Up lineup, and it’s not without headliners. For $22 in advance at $25 at the door, expect an afternoon of live music among the hipster set. Bearcat on June 11, DJ D.R.A.M. and DJ Drama on June 25 and Branko on July 23 are definitely highlights.
